How I Use Facebook

As we all know, Facebook is a social networking website intended to connect friends, family, and business associates. It is the largest of the networking sites.

During my elementary days, Friendster was more popular than Facebook. I never even heard the word Facebook at that period of time. But when I reached 12 years old, I got to know Facebook because my cousin introduced it to me. When first I logged in, I thought, "What is this? How do I use this?" Then I thought, "Never mind, I won't log in again." But when I reached High school, most of my friends and classmates were talking about it. I decided that I'd try to open it once more to see the happenings. Then I got surprised. A lot of people were using it and since the last time I logged in, it was upgraded (more applications and gadgets). I grew interested in Facebook and found that it was fun.

During my summer vacation of first year High school, I used it all day long, just like other students. I played with almost all popular games which I heard from my friends. I even post a lot of pictures.

But when I started third year High school, I didn't use it as much as before, because the lessons became harder, and more projects were given. I don't even play the games there anymore. Though now, I only use Facebook to comment on other friends' status, pictures, notes, and activities. I also use it to chat with my friends and PM them.

Now, I think that Facebook is a great way to meet friends and keep up on what they are doing. Once you add a friend to your Facebook friend list you will always know when they are adding things to their blog or updating their profile.

I just want to tell to all the readers that Facebook is fun, but is also dangerous if you put up something private in public. We must be careful while using social networking websites. Strangers can get information from you then spread rumors about you. In the future, you can even lose a job from these kind of websites.

It happened to me once but it wasn't really as dangerous. I logged in on Facebook in a stealth site (a look-alike site). And I thought that all my information would be gone, and even my e-mail would be destroyed and used in a bad way. Fortunately, my friend Clarence, fixed it for me. I was so grateful.
